Ocular (uveal) melanoma is a rare but dangerous disease, and only a small number of doctors in the United States treat it. At Texas Retina, we have been caring for ocular melanoma patients for over 40 years and are fortunate to currently have two physicians who sub-specialize in treating this rare eye cancer: Dr. Timothy Fuller and Dr. Rajiv Anand.

Current Clinical Trial
Under the leadership of Dr. Timothy Fuller, Texas Retina is currently participating in the Phase III AU-011 clinical trial (CoMpass) for treatment of small choroidal (ocular) melanoma. Together with Aura Biosciences, we are investigating the safety and efficacy of belzupacap sarotalocan (AU-011), a light-activated viral nanoparticle, in the treatment of this rare and often deadly cancer.
