In recognition of his time and contributions to the scientific programs of the organization’s annual meetings, Texas Retina’s Robert C. Wang, MD, has earned the Honor Award from the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS). The award will be presented at the ASRS 2026 Annual Meeting held July 15-18, in Montreal, Canada.
ASRS is the largest organization of retina specialists in the world, representing over 3,500 physicians in all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 63 countries. The Society serves as a national advocate and primary source of clinical and scientific information and education for its members.
Specializing in vitreoretinal surgery, medical retina and uveitis, Dr. Wang cares for patients in Texas Retina’s Dallas Main, Dallas North, Plano and Sherman offices. He also serves as Texas Retina’s director of clinical research for Plano.
