Texas Retina’s Nikisha Kothari, MD, served on a medical retina panel that reviewed rare retinal conditions, ranging from medication related toxicity and genetic disorders to infectious diseases, at the 13th Annual Vit-Buckle Society Meeting held recently in Austin, Texas. She also gave an educational talk to the residents and fellows at the meeting and currently serves on The VitBuckle Society’s executive board.
Founded in 2005 as a non-profit, voluntary organization dedicated to enhancing retina education, The Vit-Buckle Society provides an open forum that mentors developing vitreoretinal surgeons, nurtures innovative surgical technologies and therapeutic approaches for retinal diseases, and fosters best practices.
