4DMT recently recognized Dr. Ashkan Abbey and Texas Retina’s dedicated Dallas clinical research team for their contributions to advancing clinical research in genetic medicine through the 4FRONT-2 clinical trial.
The 4FRONT-2 study is a Phase 3, randomized, double-masked, active-controlled trial of a single intravitreal injection of 4D-150 in adults with macular neovascularization secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). 4D-150 is an investigational gene therapy designed to be administered as a single, low-dose eye injection. The therapy aims to enable cells within the eye to continuously produce medicine to help protect vision and reduce the need for frequent repeat injections.
Driven by a commitment to addressing unmet needs in wet AMD care, Texas Retina’s research team is proud to contribute to the rigorous Phase 3 evaluation of a potential sustained therapy that could offer durable disease control.
