We’re excited to announce that on October 14, 2025, Texas Retina broke ground on a new, state-of-the-art eye care complex to better serve the Frisco, Texas community. Scheduled to open in late 2026, this new office will eventually replace our current Frisco office and at twice the size, will better serve our patients in this rapidly growing area. It will also provide easier access to retina care for neighboring cities throughout north Texas.
The new Texas Retina eye care complex will be located just north of our current Frisco office at:

In addition to increasing our capacity, the new complex will incorporate space for clinical research and a dedicated ophthalmology ambulatory surgical center (ASC) available for retina surgeries as well as for general ophthalmology and a full range of ophthalmology subspecialty surgical procedures.
For now, Dr. Rene Y. Choi and his team will continue to serve patients in our current Frisco office location. We will keep you posted as we get closer to opening!
