Clinical Research:
Under the leadership of Principal Investigator David Callanan, MD, and study coordinators Angie Torres, Michelle Curry and Melissa Alva, our Arlington office provides patients access to clinical trials for promising new treatment options for a variety or retinal conditions, including diabetic edema, neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion and uveitis.

Staff Stats:

– Scribe/Work-up Technician Chantill Owens has been caring for our Arlington patients for 14 years.
– Research coordinator Melissa Alva is celebrating 10 years with Texas Retina Associates.

Community Involvement:
Each year, the Arlington team enjoys participating in the annual Foundation Fighting Blindness VisionWalk, raising money to fund sight-saving research to help patients suffering from retinal degenerative diseases.
