Construction is progressing on Texas Retina’s new state-of-the-art ophthalmology complex in Frisco, which remains on schedule to open later this year.

A major project milestone has been reached with completion of the building’s core and shell construction. With the exterior structure now in place, work has shifted to the interior finish-out phase, where clinical, research and surgical spaces are being built according to their specialized design requirements. Site improvements and exterior work are also continuing as the project moves closer to completion.

Designed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing Frisco community, the new facility will eventually replace Texas Retina’s current Frisco office. At nearly twice the size of the existing location, the complex will expand patient access to specialized retina care throughout North Texas.

In addition to increasing patient capacity, the new Frisco ophthalmology complex will include dedicated space for clinical research and a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center (ASC). The ASC will support retina procedures, general ophthalmology and a full range of ophthalmic subspecialty surgeries.

The new complex will be located just north of Texas Retina’s current Frisco office at:

5450 PGA Parkway
Frisco, TX 75033

Until the new facility opens, Dr. Rene Y. Choi and his team will continue to care for patients at our current Frisco office location.

We look forward to sharing additional updates as construction progresses and welcoming patients to the new facility later this year.
