We’re also excited to announce that beginning September 4, 2025, Dr. Diana M. Laura will join Dr. Rene Y. Choi in caring for patients in our Denton office so please give her a warm welcome when you see her! She joined Texas Retina in 2022 and also cares for patients in our Dallas Main and Rockwall offices.
Dr. Laura completed her vitreoretinal surgery fellowship and ophthalmology residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami, one of the top-rated eye hospitals in the country. While there, she served as Chief Resident and as Co-Director of Ocular Trauma. A member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Laura provides a full range of retina care, and she is passionate about research and continually improving the care and sight-saving treatments available to her patients.
