This past Saturday, Texas Retina Associates sponsored and participated in the 2024 Dallas-Fort Worth VisionWalk to benefit the Foundation Fighting Blindness and was recognized as the “Largest Team.” Our “Walk Stars” came out in full force to increase awareness and raise funds to support preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, Usher syndrome and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
Founded in 1971, the Foundation Fighting Blindness has raised more than $915 million over the past five decades to support and advance research that will reverse blindness and restore vision, including promising genetic, pharmaceutical, cell-based and nutritional therapies.
