Last fall Texas Retina Associates opened an office in Mansfield, Texas, located at 2925 E. Broad Street, Suite 125. Our Mansfield office may be new, but we have an experienced team dedicated to serving our patients. Here are a few fun facts:
Physicians:
– A Texas native, Andrew J. McClellan, MD, joined Texas Retina Associates in 2017, after completing his retina fellowship and ophthalmology residency training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, the top-rated eye hospital in the country. In his free time, he enjoys do-it-yourself home improvement projects and collecting vinyl records.
– Originally from Philadelphia, Nikisha Kothari, MD, joined Texas Retina Associates in August 2019, and completed her ophthalmology and retina training at two of the top-rated eye hospitals in the country: Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, and Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). When she isn’t busy taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, traveling, photography and drone videography.

– Our Mansfield photographer Natalie has been serving Texas Retina patients for 9 years.
Community Involvement:
Our Mansfield team enjoys participating in the Dallas Fort Worth VisionWalk to benefit the Foundation Fighting Blindness, a nonprofit organization driving research to find cures for blinding retinal diseases. Our team is called the Texas Retina Walk Stars, and this year’s event will be held on April 4, 2020, at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie.
