Melissa Alva, Michelle Curry and Angie Torres serve as clinical research coordinators for our Arlington office, helping to enroll patients in clinical trials for retina conditions like age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema and uveitis. They serve as our patients’ primary point of contact throughout their participation in research studies at our Arlington office and assist our physician principal investigators Wayne A. Solley, MD, and David Callanan, MD.

Melissa has been a part of Texas Retina Associates for 14 years, and both Michelle and Angie have been with us for eight years. This seasoned team enjoys working together and with our patients.

“What I enjoy most about working in clinical research is the opportunity to help discover new treatments and improve patient care,” shares Angie.

Michelle agrees, “There is never a dull moment in research. You learn something new every day.”
