For Referring Physicians

Thank you for entrusting your patients to our care.  We accept new patients every day, and urgent or emergency referrals are seen the same day.

As the communities we serve grow, we also continue to expand our capacity and services to meet the demand for vitreoretinal care.  From offering more clinical trials and the latest treatment options to opening new offices and adding physicians to improve access to care, we remain committed to meeting your needs and those of your patients.

We welcome your comments and encourage you to call us at (800) 695-6941 or send an e-mail anytime.

How to Refer a Patient

Fellowship Program

Texas Retina established a fellowship program in July 2003 to train and prepare ophthalmologists for sub-specialization in the field of vitreoretinal care.  As one of the largest and most experienced retina groups in the country, we provide an ideal training facility that rivals many of the country’s top academic programs.

Our fellowship program also benefits our patients, enhancing the level of care we provide and fostering collaboration among all of our physicians, especially on challenging cases. As part of the program, our medical team regularly reviews and discusses the latest research and developments in the field, including emerging diagnostic tools and treatment methods.

For more information about the fellowship program, contact Rand Spencer, M.D. at (214) 692-6941 or rspencer@texasretina.com.
